B.S., College of Education, Wayne State University
Reta Tomkowiak is the mother of nine children, and grandmother of four children. Mrs. Tomkowiak has taught elementary grades in Christian schools for approximately fifteen years and also home schooled her own children for seven years.
Mrs. Tomkowiak was raised in a Christian home, and knew about Christ and His salvation from her earliest years. While in college, at 22 years of age, she rededicated her life to Christ. Since that time, she has fully trusted Jesus’ finished work on the cross as payment in full for her sins and as the sole means for obtaining the free gift of eternal life.
Mrs. Tomkowiak views Christian education as a ministry. Her goal is to use her skills and talents to creatively provide a quality education while building Christian character. She strives to provide a Godly example to help children attain a personal relationship with Christ that will not buckle under peer pressure. Her desire is for her entire household and for everyone she comes in contact with to one day live eternally together in heaven. Mrs. Tomkowiak has a unique, energetic approach that manifests itself in her teaching and in her everyday Christian life.
