HISTORY

OVER 50 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE

In 1971, Calvary Baptist Church had a vision to start a Christian school in Roseville, Michigan.

Calvary Christian School opened its doors in 1972, meeting in an old church for the first two years before building a school facility on 12 Mile. In the beginning, Calvary Christian School only offered kindergarten through sixth grade. But the Lord blessed in many ways those first years. He provided skilled faculty and a continually growing student body, and in 1978 the school graduated its first senior class.

In 1993, the school was purchased by Faith Baptist Church of Warren, Michigan, and in 1996 the Lord opened the door to purchase a new facility in Clinton Township. The Lord graciously provided for each need and continued to bless FCS miraculously. In 2021, the purchase of an even newer building in Clinton Township finally enabled the school to join FBC in the same building allowing for a more efficient and impactful ministry with a greater reach into our community.

This year marks our 51st year! FCS graduates have gone on to serve the Lord in many fields, including ministry, medicine, education, military, business, accounting, sales and entrepreneurial endeavors, among others.
